A rapidly aging tech stack was holding Knopman Marks back—so we built a future-ready platform that elevated their learning experience, streamlined operations, and ultimately helped them grow their revenue from $5M to $21M over five years.

Knopman Marks trains over tens of thousands of finance professionals every year for the top 10 banks in the US. Most of these students are required to pass rigorous certification exams in order to work in their field or secure a promotion. It's a high-stress environment for the students and the content they need to learn is extremely technical and dare we say…dry.

But different users demanded different purchasing and training experiences. Our e-commerce update met their market-specific banking requirements all while keeping their famous approachable teaching philosophies intact.

We learned how to effectively test new messaging and UI changes by treating each new feature as an MLP (minimum loveable product).

The Practice Questions experience became our testing ground for motivational design elements. We implemented progress tracking, streak counters, and achievement systems that transformed the traditionally dry certification study process into an engaging, game-like experience.

Through iterative testing and user feedback, we developed a system that not only improved pass rates but made the learning process genuinely enjoyable for finance professionals studying for high-stakes certifications.

By understanding the complete user journey—from prospective students browsing courses to finance professionals achieving certification—we created a cohesive ecosystem that supports learning at every stage.

In 2023, we launched the Practice Questions experience—a breakthrough quiz creation and practice tool that delivers industry-leading pass rates through motivational touchpoints and progress tracking that keeps students engaged.
